The piece of music that was answered most was Bach's Goldberg Variations.
I always thought that these variations were commissioned by an insomniac count so "that he might be a little cheered up by them in his sleepless nights". (This story has been contested in recent years, however.)
Nevertheless, I made an arrangement for (midi) music box, vibraphone and glockenspiel to make them sound like a mobile or toy that you wind up to lull babies to sleep. This arrangement is mixed in with a recording of someone sleeping.
